Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer - Avionics

Job Overview

Aversan Inc is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer - Avionics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical and avionics system installations and modifications, developing design documents, and liaising with equipment vendors and Transport Canada for design approval.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop electrical and avionics system installations and modifications.
  2. Develop and maintain design documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Liaise with equipment vendors to develop and troubleshoot avionics systems.
  4. Collaborate with Transport Canada to obtain design approval.
  5. Develop and conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  6. Participate in modification certification test programs.
  7. Aid in troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
  8. Manage resources to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Electrical or Avionics Engineering.
  2. 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Experience with MS Office and AutoCAD.
  5. Previous Transport Canada delegation an asset.
