Interior Health is seeking a permanent full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Thoracic Surgery team in Kelowna, BC.
About the RoleThe Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with thoracic and respiratory diseases, as well as related co-morbid conditions. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating patients, and collaborating with the Thoracic Surgeons and other healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced nursing clinical practice to patients with thoracic and respiratory diseases
- Collaborate with the Thoracic Surgeons and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Participate in education, research, and administration to improve patient care and healthcare outcomes
