Under the general supervision and in alignment with the organization's established vision and values, the Nursing Unit Clerk undertakes a range of administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of a patient care area. This includes serving as a communication hub for the unit by transcribing and processing medical orders, liaising with various departments and healthcare facilities, coordinating patient appointments, scheduling diagnostic tests, and managing the reception of results. Additional responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors, handling phone inquiries, maintaining patient charts, and performing data entry and keyboarding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
