Position Overview:
As a Procurement Specialist at Dover Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and managing purchasing operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily assessment of the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and MRP requirements to ensure timely product availability for production and shipping schedules.
2. Collaborating with Manufacturing, Production Control/Planning, Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering to provide necessary information and support.
3. Conducting MRP analysis to enhance volume consolidation and rectify master data.
4. Assisting in data mining to define and establish economic order quantities.
5. Utilizing Inventory, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Financial systems effectively.
6. Managing supplier performance and engaging in tactical price negotiations.
7. Creating and distributing purchase orders, while expediting orders to adapt to changing delivery needs.
8. Ensuring on-time delivery of purchase orders for assigned commodities.
9. Reviewing international orders and import documentation for accuracy, facilitating necessary corrections.
10. Exploring new opportunities to source items or components aimed at cost reduction while ensuring a sustainable supply chain.

Performance Monitoring:
Define programs, monitor performance, and report results to management. Aid in achieving cost-saving targets while meeting inventory turnover requirements.
