Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents in a long-term care facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents under the direction of a Nurse
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help residents with mobility and transfer needs
  • Participate in recreational therapy services and other activities to promote resident engagement and well-being
Requirements
  • Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Resident Care Attendant program or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
