Baker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes. You will also be responsible for requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies, and operating machinery to bake mixed dough and batters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Prepare special orders
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Train staff
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
