We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Alberta Corp. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including bread, rolls, muffins, and cakes.
- Bake and decorate cakes and pastries for special occasions and events.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Dependability, judgement, and reliability.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
The Baker will work in a physically demanding environment with frequent standing and repetitive tasks. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:35 to 40 hours per week.
