About the Role:

The Senior Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting Manulift products in the construction sector in a structured and strategic manner to drive growth in the Ontario and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a sales professional who knows how to engage clients, quantify and articulate a value proposition, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and developing new clients, including cold calling;
  • Daily management of the territory; maintaining strong relationships with clients through visits to client work sites;
  • Planning and organizing business strategies to achieve desired results and exceed equipment sales targets;
  • Preparing and presenting ROI analyses to demonstrate benefits and potential savings to key decision-makers;
  • Identifying customer needs and responding appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitor prices;
  • Using the sales database in the Salesforce CRM to ensure information is updated daily;
  • Following up post-sale.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience/external sales position;
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry and its heavy equipment;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Demonstrated prospecting skills for new clients;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop professional relationships;
  • Strong motivation to achieve results;
  • Autonomy, structure, and organizational ability;
  • Experience using a CRM.
