Role Overview
The Senior Workday Functional Analyst will play a crucial role in the implementation and design of Workday Learning and Recruiting functionalities. Following the implementation phase, the focus will shift to ongoing management, development, and support of the Workday system. Key responsibilities include requirement gathering, issue resolution, system configuration, testing, and executing enhancements. The primary Workday functionalities supported will encompass Core HCM, Talent Management (including skills), Recruiting, Learning, and Journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Workday functional expertise for both initial implementation and ongoing support, focusing on business process configuration, data uploads (EIB), testing, and troubleshooting across Core HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning, and Journeys modules.
- Utilize your Workday expertise to develop future state processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Drive innovative HR process improvements, enhancing the end-user experience.
- Collaborate with HR leads, Talent leads, Learning leads, Recruiting leads, vendors, and external consultants to address challenges and devise innovative solutions.
- Analyze and present potential solutions for system issues and change requests to stakeholders.
- Take the lead on projects within specific functional areas as needed.
Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of functional experience with Workday.
- Experience in implementing Workday Learning and Recruiting solutions within large-scale HR transformations in diverse global organizations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to effectively gather information to assess client needs and situations.
- Well-developed root-cause analysis skills for configuring and troubleshooting issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Functional Certifications; Workday Pro certification in one or more of the Recruiting, Learning, or Talent functional areas, along with prior support experience.
