The successful candidate will work in a dynamic Bake Shop setting, where attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough for various baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries, following established recipes or custom orders.
- Order and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Bake a variety of mixed doughs and batters.
- Train and supervise staff in food preparation and safety practices.
- Decorate and frost cakes and other baked goods to meet customer specifications.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards through regular inspections.
- Operate baking machinery and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas.
- Assist in the sales and merchandising of baked products.
- Prepare special dietary items for customers with allergies or intolerances.
