About the Role:
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for structuring and packaging competitive solutions to meet customers' needs, managing and developing relationships, building your portfolio, analyzing financial data, and writing credit applications. You will also approve and renew credit, and monitor and control the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Analyze financial data to identify business opportunities and make informed credit decisions.
- Structure and package competitive solutions to meet customers' needs, including credit facilities and other financial products.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial customers, including First Nations businesses and organizations.
- Monitor and control the portfolio to ensure compliance with credit policy and practice.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry with a background in business banking.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio in a complex commercial and First Nations industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of portfolio management.
- Acceptable criminal record check and credit check.
