Position Overview

The Overnight Operations Supervisor is responsible for guiding a team while upholding Walmart's core values and principles. This role involves ensuring that merchandise is stocked, displays are set up effectively, and the store maintains a high standard of presentation and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide guidance and coordination for the Overnight Stocking team based on priorities set by the Overnight Assistant Manager and Daytime Management.
  2. Evaluate the overall presentation of products and the store's appearance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary merchandising adjustments.
  3. Ensure that any defective items are promptly taken to the claims area.
  4. Take on general responsibility for the safety and security of the store during the overnight shift in the absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager, including managing any incidents that may arise.
  5. Conduct inspections of assigned areas within the store to verify that security measures are adequate and that facilities meet compliance standards.
  6. Engage in the training and development of Overnight Associates to achieve desired performance outcomes.
