Job Summary

Vention Inc is seeking a highly skilled System Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for executing project management and driving customer communications related to our turnkey projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Program automated cells and robotic applications using Python and our proprietary programming interface.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and commission our turnkey projects at client sites, focusing on hardware integration and software integration.
  • Provide feedback on potential improvements to relevant teams, ensuring that learnings from delivery are incorporated into future projects.
  • Own the initial post-commissioning support for clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Create and maintain an improvement roadmap to continuously improve and optimize our end-to-end delivery process.
  • Develop and refine documentation related to the delivery process, enabling seamless handoffs to other teams.
  • Support the pre-sale process with testing and product expertise, ensuring that our solutions meet client needs.
  • Ensure that work areas are well-organized and functional, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment, preferably in automation or robotics engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in automation or robotics engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report issues and generate solutions.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
  • Python programming experience, with a strong understanding of automation and robotics principles.
  • Able to travel up to 25% between Canada and the United States, with flexibility to work in a variety of environments.
