Lone Star Texas Grill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of dedicated cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are meeting our high standards of food quality and safety.
- Monitor and control kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment.
- Develop and implement menu planning and pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Lead by example and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or culinary arts preferred.
