Position Overview:

As part of our solar installation crew, you will be instrumental in providing top-notch solar solutions to our clients. Collaborating with fellow installers and electricians, you will ensure that installations are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. Comprehensive training will be provided with our electrical and installation teams to equip you for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute projects in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints while maintaining exceptional quality assurance and safety standards.
  • Assemble solar array racking, effectively seal all roof penetrations, and install necessary equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, delegate tasks effectively, and address any crew-related challenges.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational challenges.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and respectful manner, addressing inquiries and concerns thoroughly.

Qualifications:

  • Reside in the Edmonton area.
  • Prior experience on residential roofs is essential.
  • Must have at least apprentice-level experience in electrical work.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle for daily transportation.
  • Prioritize safety in all work activities.
  • Additional construction and installation experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift 45-50 lbs and comfortable with ladder work.
  • Basic proficiency with hand tools is required.
  • Availability for full-time work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a solar installer is an advantage.
  • Possession of a fall arrest safety certification is preferred.

Compensation:

We offer a wattage-based pay structure, allowing you to maximize your earnings potential. Expected annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $95,000.
