We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team at Scouten Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects, working closely with clients, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop civil engineering projects, including water, sanitary, and storm systems, transportation, and lot development
- Prepare and check engineering calculations, sketches, and reports
- Manage project files, client liaison, and business development
- Author and review engineering reports, and manage junior engineering staff
- Occasional site visits and collaboration with clients
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) registration or eligibility with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC
- 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, including design, project management, and client liaison
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to prepare clear reports and communicate effectively with clients
