We invite you to become a part of our dedicated team at PHSA, where the safety of our patients and staff is paramount. We are currently seeking a skilled Manager to take charge of the daily operational oversight and upkeep of our central steam and hot water heating production and distribution Utility Plant(s) along with Mechanical Systems. Ideal candidates will possess a Second Class Certificate of competency as a Power Engineer or a degree in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a multifaceted environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Set departmental objectives and operational standards
- Oversee the operations, maintenance, and repair of the Utility Plant
- Lead and supervise emergency generator operations
- Formulate and manage departmental budgets
- Guide and develop team members
- Identify and resolve performance challenges
- Oversee construction, renovation, and maintenance initiatives
