About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant Controller to join our team at Warkentin Investments Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to optimize financial performance.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial statements and reports to provide insights into our financial performance.
    • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in accounting and financial management.
