We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to become a vital part of our organization, focusing on the analysis and determination of damage causation, validating theories, and delivering expert assessments on losses. This role involves close collaboration with our Claims department and building assessors to ensure effective resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Claims department on structural and building-related claims
  • Execute assignments for both internal and external specialists
  • Document the scene and ascertain the likely cause of damage
  • Offer technical expertise for dispute resolution
  • Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least five years of pertinent experience
  • In-depth understanding of building structures, construction practices, and regulations
  • Experience in the insurance sector and providing expert testimony in court
