Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
- Operations: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Staff Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and basic security clearance.
