About the Role:

As a key member of the EightSix Network team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients, nutritional value, and customer preferences.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that meet the company's standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and control food costs, maintaining a balanced budget and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending workshops and conferences to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior kitchen management role.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen operations, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual English/Italian language skills preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
