About the Role

  • Collect, compile, manage, and assess geomorphology, hydrology, and hydraulic data to support fluvial geomorphology and open-channel hydraulic assessments.
  • Contribute to the development of technical reports and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively across offices and disciplines to deliver projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant geoscience or engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Membership, or eligibility for membership, with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) would be considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with erosion hazard assessments, erosion threshold analyses, and headwater drainage feature assessments.
  • Familiarity with GIS software.
  • Experience completing fluvial geomorphology field work, such as measuring bankfull cross-sections.
  • Familiarity with total station and RTK GPS survey methods.
  • The ability to travel to remote areas safely and efficiently to undertake fieldwork.
