About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Golden Dragon Home Delivery Service Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to maintain a high level of hygiene.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Scour pots and pans to remove any food residue.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods for delivery or storage.
    • Package take-out food for customers.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure adequate inventory.
  • General Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Handle and store cleaning products safely.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, and dependability are essential qualities for this role.
Language and Work Conditions

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
