Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborating with Company staff, subcontractors, vessel representatives, and terminal personnel to ensure seamless order execution;
  2. Conducting draft surveys and other related assessments;
  3. Performing cargo inspections and hold evaluations;
  4. Overseeing sample preparation processes;
  5. Keeping the Company and clients informed about job status;
  6. Managing samples and documenting data derived from them;
  7. Collecting samples of bulk materials;
  8. Verifying and validating documentation from the Company or subcontractors for accuracy;
  9. Preparing and issuing reports and certificates;
  10. Delivering necessary documentation and samples to clients via email, fax, mail, or courier as required;
  11. Assisting with various other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a draft surveyor in port environments;
  2. Marine certification (at least: Chief Officer Certificate of competency, preferably Master Class 1);
  3. Valid driver's license;
  4. Proficient in English, both written and spoken;
  5. Capability to thrive in high-pressure situations;
  6. Strong attention to detail.

Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed-term contract
Contract duration: 36 months

Compensation: $78,000.00 annually
