Position Summary: The Senior Vice President of Financial Operations will play a pivotal role within the executive leadership team, concentrating on financial processes associated with SR&ED claims. Key responsibilities encompass overseeing financial documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and refining SR&ED claims. This position provides flexibility in working hours, making it ideal for professionals managing multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and management of financial documentation pertinent to SR&ED claims.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and writers to guarantee precise financial reporting.
- Facilitate effective communication between financial operations and technical departments.
- Assist clients in collecting financial information and navigating the SR&ED claim process.
- Formulate strategies for accurate and compliant financial reporting related to SR&ED claims.
- Provide the CEO with strategic insights and updates regarding financial operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial management, particularly in SR&ED claims or analogous fields.
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax regulations and SR&ED program requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with both financial and technical teams.
