Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and make change as needed.
  • Scan Items: Effectively scan products, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Calculate and collect payment from customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive Payment: Handle customer payments, process returns, and provide refunds as necessary.
  • Suggestive Selling: Offer customers product recommendations, promoting sales and driving revenue growth.
  • Greet Customers: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Support customers with self-checkout, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers purchasing restricted products, such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
