About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our climate control equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment as needed to avoid downtime at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service equipment as required to ensure proper working condition and minimize downtime
  • Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as needed
  • Deliver and install climate control related equipment as required
  • Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems
  • Fabricate parts as needed
  • Perform regular and service level safety inspections on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Meet all company, governmental, and equipment-specific safety requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum Gas Technician G2 certificate
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in a related field
  • Sound technical knowledge of propane/ng appliances, equipment, and plant operations
  • Oil burning equipment knowledge an asset, willing to train
  • Valid driver's license with three (3) years' experience and clean drivers abstract
  • DZ driver's license an asset, willing to train
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices
