Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train and develop staff in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare and portion food to meet the high standards of our hotel.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for kitchen operations, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our culinary team.
  • Guest Service and Communication
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our guests feel valued and respected.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
