We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at CB Canada.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in ISO 9001 and 14001 Integrated Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a quality plan to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Complete internal audits of the Integrated Management System, assign actions to address findings, and verify their completion.
- Manage the calibration of tools and equipment.
- Assist with external audits and inspections pertaining to the Quality Management System.
- Perform document control activities, including drafting, revising, and issuing documents.
- Interpret drawings and specifications as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Trades certificate from a recognized program and/or technical diploma required.
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and manufacturing processes used to manufacture compressor equipment.
- 5 years of CNG Compressor and Dispenser manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent.
- Experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and flows, including Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Worked in an ISO 9001 quality system or equivalent.
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Experience reading shop drawings.
