Job Summary:

Koch-Glitsch is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team in Uxbridge, Ontario. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the manufacturing process, including operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machines, including brake press, shears, punch press, spot welder, and bandsaws, to produce high-quality parts.
  • Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Monitor machine output to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Handle materials and parts up to 50lbs safely and efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely operate lifting equipment, such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawing specifications.
  • Previous experience in a sheet metal fabrication setting is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
