Job Summary

Koch-Glitsch is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team in Uxbridge, Ontario. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the manufacturing process, including operating equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various machines and equipment, including brake press, shears, punch press, spot welder, and bandsaws
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and quality control standards
  • Assist in the setup and operation of equipment, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Monitor machine output to ensure accurate and high-quality parts
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate lifting equipment and handle materials up to 50lbs
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawing specifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is an asset
  • Valid driver's license is required
