Job Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Modify, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Fix or substitute mechanical units or components as necessary
  • Evaluate and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications
  • Estimate costs for parts and labor required for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance services as scheduled
  • Test and calibrate units to ensure they meet specifications
  • Document issues and work completed in reports
  • Mentor and guide apprentices in their training
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience
