Role Overview:
- Security Strategy Development: Formulate comprehensive strategies to safeguard IT resources.
- Software Vulnerability Assessment: Detect and manage weaknesses in software applications.
- Support for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Partner with development teams to embed security protocols.
- Establishment of Application Security Policies: Define security guidelines for application development processes.
- Engagement in Security Operations: Oversee security status and react to incidents.
- Monitoring Cybersecurity Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive reports regarding security issues.
- Mentorship and Training: Offer insights on best practices in application security.
- Collaboration Across Departments: Cooperate closely with IT and development teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in application vulnerability management tools.
- Technical expertise in Azure, Qualys, SonarQube, SAST, and DAST tools.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP or CompTIA Security+.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
