We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Contracts Counsel to join our team at Myant Inc. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in advising on complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigating legal risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including licenses, terms & conditions, service agreements, and partnership agreements.
  • Conduct legal risk assessments and work with business leaders to mitigate risks related to health and privacy matters.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects, such as impact assessments related to new legislation, new service offerings, and new products.
  • Oversee regulatory laws and risks, and provide strategic legal advice to support the company's day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of strong corporate and/or commercial experience, preferably in the technology and start-up space.
  • LLB or JD and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Good understanding of corporate and contract law, with knowledge of healthcare, patent, and employment law.
  • Ability to proactively identify legal and reputational risks and propose solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory standards or legal concepts for a functionally diverse audience.
