Job Title: Dental Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Aide to join our team at Westhill Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
  • Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient dental practice.
  • Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials for use during dental procedures.
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in the dental field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and dental staff.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
