We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Comfort Keepers. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Provide Medical Support: Take vital signs, assist with medication management, and provide basic first aid as needed.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning up, as well as light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Transportation and Mobility: Safely transport clients to and from appointments, and assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
  • Communication and Companionship: Engage in conversation, listen actively, and provide emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
