Job Title: Moving Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Moving Truck Driver to join our team at Calgary Pro Movers. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Ensure that goods are properly loaded and unloaded from trucks to prevent damage and ensure efficient transportation.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure that trucks are operational and ready for transport.
  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that trucks are in good working condition.
  • Cargo Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly during transport.
  • Transport and Handle Dangerous Goods: Transport and handle dangerous goods in accordance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Setting: Be willing to relocate and work on the road.
  • Work Term: Work on a permanent basis.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: Work 35 hours per week.
