Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Assistant to join our team at CK Flooring & Interior Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of flooring installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Work Environment

As a Flooring Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to work outdoors in various locations, often in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
