About the Role

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatchers Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our dispatchers and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Create and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Task Management: Organize and assign tasks to dispatchers to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the coordination of activities with other work units or departments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance reviews for dispatchers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are available when needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient, excellent oral and written communication skills, judgement, organized, analytical, and proactive.
