Automotive Repair and Service Shop Operations Manager

We are a reputable automotive repair and service shop seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Operations Management: Oversee the preparation of production and other reports, ensuring that they are accurate and timely.
- Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Staffing and Training: Recruit and hire workers, and provide training and development opportunities to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Cost Estimation and Materials Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Work Scheduling and Co-ordination: Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
