About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Architect to join our team at Walnut Staffing Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Design and Development
    • Design and develop database systems to meet the needs of our organization
    • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models
    • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy
  • Database Management
    • Manage and maintain existing database systems
    • Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures
    • Ensure data security and integrity
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with IT staff to ensure database systems meet business needs
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand data requirements
    • Provide training and support to end-users on database systems
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and management
    • Strong understanding of database systems, data modeling, and data warehousing

    • Proficient in database management systems (DBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
    • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and C++
