About the Opportunity

Cape Breton University is seeking a collaborative and experienced academic professional to join our Department of Organizational Management in the Shannon School of Business. As an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Health Care Management, you will play a key role in teaching and research in this dynamic field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Health Care Analytics and the Program Capstone course, as well as other courses assigned based on qualifications and experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum in Health Care Management.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities in Health Care Management, with opportunities to collaborate with faculty and external partners.
  • Participate in service to the university, community, and profession, including committee work and professional development.

Requirements
  • PhD in Health Care Management or a related field.
  • Relevant Master's degree or professional accreditation equivalent to a Master's degree, or completion of all requirements for a PhD but for an unfinished dissertation.
  • Experience in teaching, research, and service in Health Care Management.
