Job Summary

Pahra Transportation Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a commercial vehicle as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections, brake adjustments, and maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Have long-haul transportation experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
