Canada North Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Risk Assessor to join our team in Markham, ON.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and complete risk assessments, data management, and quantitative analyses
- Conduct fate and transport modelling, including water quality modelling
- Prepare technical reports and screening/qualitative reports
- Develop clear language materials, reports, and presentations
- Master's Degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or environmental science
- Minimum 8 years' experience in environmental risk assessment/modelling
- Experience conducting O. Reg 153/04 assessments and federal risk assessments
- Experience with MATLAB and fate and transport modelling
- Data analysis, statistics, and use of advanced functions in Excel
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
