Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Beverages Service Technician to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our beverage equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service and support to our customers, enhancing their experience and building strong relationships.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of beverage equipment, including fountain machines, coolers, and vending machines.
- Conduct deliveries and assist with the installation of Visi/Vend equipment.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment, such as electrical multi-meters and refrigeration diagnostic tools, to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Accurately complete invoices, settlement sheets, and related paperwork using hand-held computers or manual processes.
- Manage inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing downtime.
- Prepare marketing materials and promotional equipment to support sales initiatives.
- Meet or exceed customer service standards, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Journeyperson Appliance Service Technician or Refrigeration and AC Mechanic certification preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, communication abilities, and independence.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Ability to pass aptitude testing and subject to practical testing.
- Physical ability to safely move heavy equipment, meeting the demands of the role, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Valid Class 5 Operator's license required with a clean abstract.
Working Conditions
This role requires flexibility, including working evenings and weekends on a rotating basis. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
