About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Professional to join our Domestic Tax team at BDO Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns for a variety of clients, contributing to tax compliance projects, and assisting with researching tax issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently utilize technical knowledge to prepare tax returns for clients
  • Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments
  • Assist with researching tax issues and documenting research in tax memos or client letters
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues

Requirements
  • Completed CPA designation
  • At least 1 year of experience in public accounting
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
