The Lighting Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in achieving lighting sales objectives and supporting the management team in surpassing shared corporate goals related to sales and gross margin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting Westburne to maintain a competitive advantage in the electrical sector.
  • Overseeing lighting product sales and driving business development initiatives.
  • Collecting market intelligence and analyzing requirements and trends, particularly regarding pricing or product deficiencies, and effectively communicating findings to management.
  • Engaging with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs.
  • Collaborating on joint calls with lighting vendors and Branch Sales Representatives.
  • Training Branch Staff and Sales Teams on identifying potential lighting opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience in lighting and foundational electrical knowledge is essential.
  • Capability to analyze and sell within industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient sales aptitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office; AS400 experience is advantageous.
