About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at Holland Motor Hotel. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Order merchandise and maintain an efficient inventory system.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that the sales team is working effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that it is accurately stocked and easily accessible.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Capacity to provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
  • Facilitation of access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
