About the Position

Brand Momentum is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Merchandising Specialist to work independently at multiple retail locations, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Territory: Langley

Temporary Contract: Approximately 2 months

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, who can work independently and has an eye for detail. You should be well-organized, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and have a passion for building strong business relationships. Previous experience in a food store environment is an asset. You must have a smartphone and access to the internet.

Responsibilities
  • Perform merchandising tasks at one or two retail stores
  • Maintain sections, including proper rotation, restocking, and ensuring distribution of all products
  • Secure additional/incremental off-shelf displays
  • Clean our sections, ensuring that equipment always meets food safety requirements
  • Replace and/or repair fixtures as required and place POP materials, including shelf tags and signage
  • Place product orders and work with suppliers to ensure orders are placed
  • Promote special buying opportunities, displays, and new products
  • Perform any necessary POG changes and make recommendations with the department to maximize sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department personnel and store management
  • Submit daily required visit reports/call reports
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Your home location should be within 5 KM of our retail store (by car preferred or public transport)
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Previous merchandising experience is an asset but not a requirement
  • Able to commit to the length of the contract
  • Have a smartphone and access to the internet
  • Pay rate starts at $20/hour
