Job Title: Container Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Container Delivery Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering waste containers to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a delivery truck to transport waste containers to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Perform daily pre and post trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, bending, and moving 50 pounds or more.
  • Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and containers of trash at designated facilities.
  • Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Work Environment:

As a Container Delivery Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to physical risks, including moving mechanical parts. You will also be exposed to outside weather conditions, including hot, wet, and/or rainy conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean Abstract
  • Comfortable with physical labor
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays. Approx. 45-55 hours a week.
